Pythagoras

What is Pythagoras?

Pythagoras is an educational toy that enables children to learn about shapes. Loved for over 30 years since we first launched it in 1992, it continues to captivate many children and parents with an ever-expanding product lineup.

Developed by
a Math Teacher

Pythagoras was designed by a middle school teacher to make learning shapes simple and fun for children. Using magnets, kids can take flat objects and make them three-dimensional. Through play, they deepen their understanding of shapes.

The Fun Begins
with Magnets!

The magnetic plates are a great way to practice problem solving. The possibilities for creative play are endless, guided only by their imagination.

Initially, children are fascinated by the tactile experience of attaching and peeling off the plates.

Gradually, they use more plates, arranging them on flat surfaces, stacking them, or assembling simple three-dimensional objects.
By this age, children can build houses and roads, incorporating dolls, cars, and other toys into their imaginative play.
Children experiment with building large structures or challenging, hard-to-balance creations. Through trial and error, they learn to bring their ideas to life.

Key Features of Pythagoras

Magnetic Fun for Easy Creativity

Built-in magnets let pieces stick together effortlessly, enabling kids to create flat or 3D shapes like houses or garages with ease.

Versatile Shapes for Creative Play

The set includes squares, triangles, and more, allowing children to explore individual shapes or combine them for limitless creations.

Grows with Your Child

As early as age 1, kids can learn how to stick the pieces together. As they grow, they advance to building three-dimensional objects, experimenting with sound, and creating more complex shapes.

Why Kids Love Pythagoras

Pythagoras sparks creativity and helps children develop spatial awareness by transforming flat shapes into three-dimensional objects. Through play, kids build essential skills like problem solving and spatial reasoning, preparing them for geometry and drawing in school.

It also promotes teamwork and imagination, encouraging children to collaborate and express themselves while fostering social and creative skills. Pythagoras is more than a toy—it’s a tool for growth, creativity, and exploration that adapts to their developmental stages.
